CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. I is an emergency, life saving procedure that is done when someone has stopped breathing, or their heart has stopped. This could easily happen after electric shock, a heart attack, or after drowning. There are many chest compressions and hand gestures to use for CPR.
